" Step of Life" Records 39 Million Charity Steps Since the Launch of the Initiative in the Blessed Month of Ramadan

The " Step of Life" initiative, organized by The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai under the umbrella of the "Ramadan in Dubai" initiative, has achieved remarkable success during the blessed month of Ramadan. Since its launch, the initiative has recorded over 39 million steps with the participation of 276 volunteers across 10 neighborhoods (Furjan), marking a significant community engagement and success in presenting charitable work in an innovative and inspiring manner.

The initiative aims to encourage individuals to turn their physical activity into charitable support by counting their steps and converting them into humanitarian contributions that benefit those in need. This enhances the culture of giving and solidarity in modern ways that align with the aspirations of the community.

In this regard, Mohammed Musbah Dhahi, Executive Director of the Charitable Work Sector and General Coordinator of the "Ramadan in Dubai" initiative, stated that the numbers recorded since the launch of the initiative reflect the community's awareness and eagerness to contribute to charitable work in innovative ways that align with the spirit of the blessed month. He noted that converting daily physical activity into humanitarian support reflects the integration of health, social, and religious values simultaneously.

He added that the initiative has witnessed notable interaction from the residents of the participating neighborhoods, which confirms its success in enhancing the culture of giving in an inspiring way and reinforcing the concept that every step can be the beginning of a better life for others.

On his part, Ahmed Faisal Al Janahi, Head of Charitable Events within the "Ramadan in Dubai" initiative, confirmed that the increasing interaction with " Step of Life" reflects the community's awareness of the importance of linking physical activity with charitable work. This is a message we aim to spread through this unique initiative, he noted, adding that the goal of the initiative is to promote the concept of giving in a practical way that inspires everyone to contribute to goodness, in line with our vision of "Closer to the Community."

As the initiative continues to achieve positive feedback The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai continues its efforts to support sustainable community initiatives that embody the values of compassion and solidarity during the holy month, and contribute to reinforcing Dubai's position as a global city of goodness and giving.
