During the "Ramadan in Dubai" campaign of the year 1445 AH, launched under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Media Council, and on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan, the Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities organized the largest human slogan "Ramadan in Dubai" to commemorate and honor this day in the Jebel Ali area. This was done in cooperation with strategic partners including Dubai World Ports, We One Company, Dar Al Ber Society, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du), and other entities.
More than 5,000 workers representing 70 nationalities from companies operating in Dubai lined up, along with all participating entities, to form the largest human slogan for "Ramadan in Dubai" through a collective iftar (breakfast). On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department, emphasized: Zayed Humanitarian Day embodies a great legacy of charitable and humanitarian work in the UAE, as charitable work is one of the pillars of the structure of the union, which grows stronger year after year, thanks to the vision of the founding fathers, who formulated an approach in which they considered charity and aid as an approach to the march of the civilized state. It is the approach of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who established the school of giving that was launched from the UAE to the world, carrying with it the values of goodness and the firm will to care for and support human beings wherever they are, until the UAE became among the most helpful countries for charitable and humanitarian work, pointing out that Zayed's fingerprints in charitable and humanitarian work are found at home and abroad and in all parts of the earth, and the good hand of Zayed extends to make every needy person happy and the other hand extends to make glories. His Excellency extended his gratitude to all strategic partners such as DP World, WE One company, Dar Al Ber Society, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du), and some other participating entities in the event.
