The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the launch of a new package under its “Masajid Al Freej"initiative, named "Our Mosque Quran." This package aims to provide Qurans to mosques across Dubai and offers the opportunity for members of the community to contribute to this charitable effort.
Mr. Mohamed Jasim Al Mansoori, Director of the Customer Service Department and Project Manager, stated that the launch of this package comes in response to the community’s needs and its connection with mosques, in alignment with IACAD’s vision to be closer to the community. He emphasized that providing Qurans in places of worship is one of the greatest forms of ongoing charity, benefiting both contributors and worshippers alike.
Al Mansoori added: "Through this initiative, we aim to facilitate the contribution of individuals and institutions in supporting mosques with Qurans, which contributes to spreading the culture of contemplation of the Holy Quran and enhancing noble Islamic values."
It is worth mentioning that the “Masajid Al Freej" initiative aims to support the needs of mosques through various packages, including full support and partial contributions, such as maintenance and cleaning of mosques, the "Our Mosque Carpet and Shade" package, along with the maintenance and provision of air conditioning systems, and other aspects that enhance the worshippers' experience inside mosques.
IACAD has called on the community to engage with this initiative and contribute to spreading goodness, emphasizing that such projects strengthen Dubai’s leading humanitarian role in charitable and community work. "Goodness never stops as long as generous hands extend in giving, and pure souls believe in the value of generosity and loyalty."
