As part of its ongoing efforts to foster a positive and motivating work environment, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has launched a new weekly initiative titled "Khamisna Wanasah" (Fun Thursdays). The initiative is part of the Happiness Council’s programs and aims to boost employee morale and enhance workplace well-being.

Held every Thursday, the initiative features a variety of engaging and entertaining activities tailored for employees in a friendly atmosphere that reflects a culture of appreciation and helps build a more flexible and connected work environment.

This week’s edition embraced the spirit of warmth and Emirati generosity, with dates being distributed to employees—a symbolic gesture rooted in the UAE’s deep cultural values of hospitality.

The initiative reflects IACAD’s commitment to supporting the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership in making happiness a way of life and promoting a culture of positivity and professional well-being. It also contributes to achieving one of the department’s strategic goals: creating an inspiring and rewarding workplace built on appreciation and continuous motivation.
