IACAD Hosts H.E. Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri in an Inspiring Lecture on Leadership Stories

IACAD Hosts H.E. Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri in an Inspiring Lecture on Leadership Stories

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of excellence and instill the principles of positive leadership, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai organized a developmental lecture titled “Leadership Stories – Inspiring Lessons from Reality.” The session was delivered by His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, and was attended by a number of department employees and individuals interested in leadership, personal development, and institutional work.

The lecture showcased a range of real-life leadership models that have made a significant impact on institutional success. Dr. Al Marri highlighted inspiring experiences and situations that offered profound lessons in wisdom, decision-making, and achievement.

The lecture focused on three main pillars of leadership skill development. The first addressed the importance of effective engagement with work teams, emphasizing its role in building trust, boosting motivation, and fostering clear communication within the workplace.

The second pillar tackled the art of crisis management, underlining the necessity for leaders to possess flexibility and quick decision-making abilities in emergency situations—qualities deemed essential for driving change.

The third pillar emphasized the importance of decisive decision-making, drawing on strategic thinking skills and confident, clear evaluation of alternatives.

This initiative aligns with IACAD’s strategic direction to foster leadership and continuous development, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to empower national talents and build innovative, agile government institutions that are proactive and forward-thinking.

IACAD reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such high-impact events that contribute to enhancing the competencies of its personnel and strengthening their leadership mindset, in alignment with Dubai’s strategic goals of building a knowledge-based and pioneering institutional society.
