A donor pays AED 10,000 to cover the treatment costs of a cancer patient, in coordination with and IACAD "Hotline"

A donor has paid AED 10,000 for the treatment of Mrs. Leila, who has been suffering from breast cancer for the past six months. The donation was coordinated between the donor and the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, with the amount being transferred to the patient’s account at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City Hospital in Abu Dhabi through the Emarat Al Youm Hotline.

Leila underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tumor, but she still requires special medication costing AED 10,000 to stabilize her condition due to the difficult financial circumstances her family is facing, which prevent them from covering the treatment costs, Leila appealed to kind-hearted individuals for assistance.

Leila expressed her deep gratitude and happiness to the donor, praising his support during the difficult times she is going through. She noted that helping those in need is a deeply rooted trait of the Emirati people, known for their kindness and generosity. According to medical reports obtained by Emarat Al Youm from Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City Hospital.

Leila, a 40-year-old Egyptian woman, had been suffering from a cancerous tumor in her left breast for six months. After undergoing surgery to remove the tumor in Egypt, she visited the oncology department at the hospital, where tests revealed that she needed special medications and ongoing medical follow-up.

The cost of the medications is AED 10,000. Leila explained, "I am the sole provider for my family of five, earning a salary of AED 5,000, from which I pay AED 1,200 monthly for bank installments. The remainder of my salary barely covers our basic needs. We have no other source of income."
