" Matwa'a Al-Freij " is a new community initiative from IACAD

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the launch of its new community initiative, "Matwa'a Al-Freij" aimed at meeting the needs of new generations by providing Quran memorization and knowledge sessions tailored to various age groups. This initiative seeks to enhance values of knowledge and Islamic education through a unified digital platform, set to launch in October 2024 and run until June 15, 2025. Commenting on the initiative, His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director General of the department, stated that " Matwa'a Al-Freij," designed specifically for females, is part of a series of community initiatives undertaken by Dubai Islamic Affairs to achieve the goals of Dubai's Social Agenda 33, particularly those related to building a happier, more connected, tolerant family while holding onto national values and identity. He added that the department aims to provide advanced educational opportunities that align with community needs and contribute to establishing a strong foundation of Islamic values and principles, preparing a generation of girls linked to the Book of Allah and His Sunnah. This initiative will also help discover and nurture local talents by utilizing qualified retired Emirati women with backgrounds in Islamic studies or Quran certification, emphasizing that " Matwa'a Al-Freij " will be the most accessible and recognized platform within the community.

Al-Freij Mutwaa" Initiative Sees High Enrollment Since its Launch

The initiative has witnessed significant interest from applicants across various age groups, aiming to empower retired female teachers to educate the future generation and provide educational and social support. The number of applicants for the initiative has exceeded 480 registrations, including more than 36 applications from people of determination, over 44 from senior female citizens, and more thaove aimed at enhancing the role of women in providing social and educational support to community members, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has launched the "Al-Freij Mutwaa" initiative. This educational platform focuses on the learning and memorization of the Holy Quran remotely using modern and advanced teaching methodsn 400 applications from young girls aged 16 and above. Additionally, over 240 applications have been received for registration as teachers since the announcement of the initiative.

Over 4,230 Beneficiaries of "Mutwaa Al-Freej " Initiative Since its Launch

The " Mutwaa Al-Freej " initiative, launched by The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai last October, has achieved record numbers in the fields of religious education, community development, and cultural awareness. The initiative has played a key role in fostering sustainable positive change, organizing 115 educational sessions focused on teaching, reciting, and memorizing the Quran, along with implementing 26 religious training and awareness programs covering various religious topics that cater to individuals from different age groups and social categories, in line with the objectives of Dubai's Social Agenda 33.
