The second season of the initiative “Your Donation is Life,” launched by Emarat Al Youm in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation (a member of Dubai Health) and the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, has successfully raised AED 46,157,970. The funds will be used to perform kidney transplants for 67 patients suffering from kidney failure.

This achievement was made possible through the contributions of eight government, private, and charitable organizations, along with donations from 20 individuals from the community.

The national community initiative was launched four months ago and has achieved its predetermined goal before the end of the year. This success came through encouraging the private sector, business leaders, and members of the public to support the initiative and provide the necessary assistance to its target beneficiaries.

Kidney transplant surgeries have already been conducted for a number of the patients included in the initiative, with the remaining procedures scheduled to follow in due course.
