Two donors assisted Samar, who suffered third-degree burns from drinking a caustic substance, by covering her treatment costs amounting to 29,000 AED. The "Hotline" coordinated between the donors and the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai to transfer the donation to the child's account at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. "Emirates Today" published the story of the child's suffering on the 4th of this month, highlighting that her family was unable to afford the required treatment costs.

Samar's father expressed his deep gratitude to the donors, praising their support during these difficult circumstances. Samar, a 15-month-old Tunisian child, needs to undergo endoscopy, skin grafting, and cosmetic surgery.

According to medical reports from Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, which "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of, Samar suffered severe burns from drinking a caustic chemical. She was transferred to the emergency department unconscious, where she was treated and provided with necessary care in the pediatric intensive care unit. The tests showed that she had severe burns in her abdomen, intestines, and other parts of her body. After urgent surgery, her condition stabilized after a month of medical care. Currently, she requires endoscopic and skin grafting surgeries, at a cost of 29,135 AED.

Her father recounted her ordeal, saying she drank "acidic water" used to clean bathrooms while playing in the kitchen. Upon feeling pain, she screamed loudly and lost consciousness. He immediately took her to the emergency department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, where her condition was diagnosed as third-degree burns. The father mentioned that his financial situation prevents him from covering even a portion of the treatment costs, as he supports a family of five and works in a private company with a salary of 5,000 AED, from which rent payments are deducted
