The winter evening in the Hatta Center

The External Centers Department, represented by the Hatta Center of The Islamic affairs and charitable activities Department in Dubai (IACAD), organized the “Winter Evening” at the Hatta Heritage Festival Village, Hatta District, on Friday, within the center enters in participating with Hatta’s people in their heritage and entertainment events.

The evening started with a student from Maktoum centers for memorizing the Holy Quran who read recitation from the Holy Quran. The evening also included the services such as the Ifta service, the service of care for new Muslims, the family counseling service, and the service of establishing religious activity and many others.

The evening then moved to a dialogue with the new Muslims in the Hatta region, about what they felt when they embraced Islam, and what helped them and push them to declare their Islam, and the things that they should know after converting to Islam. After this session, Samuel -a security man in the Hatta Center- who declared his Islam before the attendees in which made the audience happy.

Samuel was affected by the good ethics of the people of the region since his arrival in the Hatta region, and the Hatta Center was keen to include it in various activities in his desire for Islam.

The evening concluded with an entertaining session with the audience, containing cultural and heritage questions for men, women and senior Emiratis, and fun entertaining games for children.
