As part of the cultural programs organized by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, the Umrah delegation, which includes new Muslims as well as students from the Maktoum Centers for the Quran and its Sciences and other Quran memorization centers overseen by IACAD, visited several Islamic landmarks in Al Madinah.
The visit began with prayers at the Quba Mosque, where participants had the opportunity to perform two rak'ahs, in line with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to enhance the spiritual experience. The trip also included a visit to Mount Uhud, where accompanying preachers spoke about the significance of these sites and their impact on Islam. Participants listened to lessons about the Battle of Uhud, the lessons learned from it, and the virtue of praying at the Quba Mosque.
The tour concluded with a visit to the Martyrs' Cemetery. These visits are part of the ongoing efforts of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department to strengthen faith, familiarize new Muslims with prominent Islamic sites, and instill Islamic values in future generations.
