The Dubai International Holy Quran Award, affiliated with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, is preparing to launch the final rounds of the “Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Holy Quran Competition” on Saturday, November 8, 2025, with a total participation of 112 male and female contestants across various memorization categories. The event will take place in a spiritual atmosphere filled with Quranic recitation and excellence.
The male contestants’ finals will be held from November 8 to 12, featuring 56 participants distributed as follows: 11 contestants on November 8, 12 on November 9, and 11 contestants each on November 10, 11, and 12. The female contestants’ finals will take place from November 15 to 19, with an equal number of 56 participants, distributed according to the schedule approved by the judging committee.
In this regard, Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Acting Director of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, affirmed that the launch of the final rounds represents a key stage of the competition, which has, since its inception, established a solid approach in serving the Holy Quran and encouraging members of the community to memorize and perfect its recitation. He said: “We are approaching a distinguished edition that reflects the great attention our wise leadership gives to Quranic talents and strengthens Dubai’s position as a leading destination for hosting local and international Quranic events. The department has ensured an ideal environment for participants and judging panels to guarantee fairness, equal opportunities, and transparency of results.”
Al Mansouri also noted that the strong turnout reflects the deep-rooted religious and educational values within Emirati society, emphasizing that the Award continues its mission to nurture the memorizers of the Holy Quran and refine their skills to help build a conscious generation firmly committed to noble Quranic values.
The department invites the public to follow the final rounds’ activities, which will be held at the main judging hall of the Award and broadcast live on the department’s YouTube channel, in support of the participants and to encourage their journey in memorizing the Holy Quran.
