The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, represented by the Dubai International Quran Award, has announced the completion of its preparations for the 25th edition of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Quran Competition. The competition will take place from January 4th to 10th, and is one of the prominent branches of the Dubai International Quran Award. It targets both Emirati and resident Quran memorizers in the UAE, emphasizing the importance of the Quran in individuals' and society's lives.

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Mehairi, Director-General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai International Quran Award, confirmed that the 25th edition of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Quran Competition is progressing according to a well-structured plan to ensure the highest standards of excellence and organization. He also mentioned that all arrangements for the competition have been meticulously approved, including the formation of specialized judging committees composed of qualified Quran experts, in addition to supervision and follow-up committees to ensure the event runs smoothly and professionally.

He added, "The venues for the competition have been prepared in a way that reflects the significance and religious value of the event. The male competitions will be held at the Award's headquarters in the Al Mamzar area, while the Nahda Women's Association in the Al Hamriya area has been designated to host the female competitions. We are committed to providing an outstanding competitive environment that reflects the great appreciation our wise leadership has for the service of the Quran and the encouragement of its memorizers."

The competition includes several levels that cater to various age groups and levels, promoting widespread and active participation. It aims to honor those who have memorized the Quran and motivate future generations to memorize and recite it accurately, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to supporting initiatives that uphold noble Islamic values.
