The conclusion of the final qualifiers of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Quran Competition in its 25th edition

The final stage of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Quran Competition concluded its 25th edition, organized by the Dubai International Quran Award of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai. The competition saw the participation of 109 male and female contestants from various nationalities and age groups, with the event held under the theme "Thank You, Sheikha Hind," in an atmosphere filled with faith and healthy competition.

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director-General the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai International Quran Award, expressed his sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Al Maktoum for her generous sponsorship and support of the competition over the past 25 years. He emphasized her significant role in supporting the memorization of the Quran and promoting Islamic values, reflecting the vision of the wise leadership in supporting the Quran and encouraging generations to memorize and recite it.

Ibrahim Jasim Al-Mansoori, Head of the Judging Committee, stated: "This year's final stage displayed the great commitment of the participants, who excelled in delivering distinguished recitations and accurate memorization of the Quran. Our judging team worked with precise criteria to ensure a fair and impartial evaluation. What we witnessed today reflects the deep connection of the participants with the Book of Allah."

The competition took place in two separate venues, one for males at the Dubai International Quran Award building in Al Mamzar, and the other for females at the Nahda Women's Association hall in Al Hamriya. The daily sessions began at 4 PM, with specialized judging panels composed of prominent scholars and sheikhs responsible for the evaluation process.

The Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Quran Competition is one of the key initiatives that reflect the leadership's vision in supporting cultural and Islamic projects, enhancing Quranic values within various segments of society, and encouraging excellence in memorization and recitation of the Quran. The winners are expected to be announced and honored at an upcoming closing ceremony.
