Talabat UAE and IACAD Partner to Launch ‘Hero Meals’ Campaign For Ramadan

Talabat UAE has partnered with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) to launch the Ramadan ‘Hero Meals’ campaign. This initiative enables customers to provide meals for delivery riders in Dubai throughout the holy month of Ramadan, directly through the talabat app.

Participating restaurants will offer specially curated menu items priced between AED 15 and 30. Customers can participate by selecting their preferred restaurant from the ‘Hero Meals’ collection on the talabat app, and adding a rider meal to their order with just a few taps.

Simonida Subotic, Vice President and Managing Director at talabat UAE, said: "At talabat, we are committed to leveraging our platform to support meaningful causes. Through the ‘Hero Meals’ campaign, we aim to provide our customers with a simple way to support delivery riders, who play an important role in our community. We are proud to partner with the IACAD to inspire a spirit of collective generosity throughout the holy month."

Mohammad Musabeh Ali Dhahi, CEO of the Charitable Work Sector at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department added: “We are pleased to partner with talabat UAE on this meaningful campaign, reinforcing our commitment to building stronger community ties. Providing Iftar meals to delivery riders during Ramadan reflects the values of compassion and generosity that define the holy month. We encourage residents to participate in this campaign and come together in showing appreciation for those who serve our community throughout the year.”

The ‘Hero Meals’ collection will be available daily between 5 PM to 7 PM throughout the month of Ramadan. Delivery riders will collect their meals when picking up customer orders, allowing them to enjoy their iftar after completing deliveries. This initiative has been approved by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) under permit number PRHCE-004172153.
