The official Umrah Delegation of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has returned to the UAE after a spiritual journey aimed at enhancing religious values among the participants, who included students from the Maktoum Centers for Quranic Studies and private Quran memorization centers, as well as new Muslims. A total of 66 participants were involved, and the trip served as an opportunity to deepen their connection with the Quran and strengthen their commitment to Islamic teachings through performing Umrah and visiting sacred places.
Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khateeb, Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector, confirmed that this trip is part of IACAD strategy to support new Muslims and encourage Quran memorizers. Al Khateeb emphasized that the trip reflects IACAD commitment to empowering individuals spiritually and strengthening their connection to Islam. He added, "We have seen the profound positive impact the experience had on the participants, especially the new Muslims who performed Umrah for the first time. It enhanced their understanding of Islam and encouraged them to adhere more closely to its teachings."
Al Khateeb pointed out that this initiative contributes to empowering individuals by providing them with the necessary moral support, affirming that IACAD continues to organize such enriching experiences that instill Islamic values and teachings in participants.
