National Academy for Childhood Development in Abu Dhabi Reviews "Al-Fareej Nursery" Model

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department welcomed a delegation from the National Academy for Childhood Development in Abu Dhabi at the Umm Al-Sheif Cultural Islamic Center. This visit aimed to explore the "Al-Fareej Nursery" model, an initiative launched in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai.

The initiative aims to enhance community cooperation and improve the quality of early education in the United Arab Emirates, contributing to better childcare and the development of children's skills.

This visit reinforces educational innovation within joint efforts to disseminate best practices in child care and emphasize the importance of exchanging experiences in this vital field. This will help develop innovative educational programs that contribute to enhancing children's cognitive and social abilities in a safe and stimulating learning environment.

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director General of IACAD, expressed the importance of this visit as a reflection of the UAE institutions' commitment to adopting best practices aligned with the vision of the leadership. H.E emphasized that knowledge and experience sharing among relevant entities is a fundamental step toward achieving national goals in early education.

Al-Muhairi added that investing in the development of children's skills is priority, as they are the hope of the future and the backbone of the nation.

The visit included a tour of the nursery facilities, where the delegation learned about the educational methods used and how modern technology is integrated into the educational process for children. Additionally, there was an exchange of experiences between the academy team and the nursery management regarding educational curricula and the best ways to support children's holistic development.

During the visit, the academy delegation praised the efforts made in providing outstanding educational and developmental services for young children, emphasizing the importance of this stage in shaping the psychological and social foundations of a child.
