The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai organized a jurisprudential course titled "Blessed Women" at the Nad Al Sheba Women’s Center. The course, presented by Dr. Hessa Khalfan Bin Hudhaiba, Senior Mufti at the Fatwa Department, saw a remarkable attendance, with more than 95 participants on the first day. This is part of the center's efforts to enhance religious awareness among women, empowering them to perform their acts of worship correctly and to gain a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings.
The "Blessed Women" course is held every Wednesday throughout 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The course aims to teach women essential Islamic rulings on topics such as purification, prayer, fasting, and other matters that every Muslim must learn and cannot be ignorant of.
The course is inspired by the words of Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "The women of the Ansar are the best women; their modesty did not prevent them from seeking knowledge of religion" (Sahih Muslim). Through this course, the department seeks to provide accessible and comprehensive religious knowledge to women, enriching their understanding of worship practices that no Muslim can be excused for not knowing.
