More than 6,000 Beneficiaries from "A Center in Every Geographical Area" Initiative by IACAD

More than 6,000 Beneficiaries from "AThe Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced outstanding results for its pioneering project, "A Center in Every Geographical Area," which aims to enhance religious, cultural, and social services across Dubai. Since the project's launch in November 2024, more than 6,000 individuals have benefited from the diverse services provided to meet the needs of the community and contribute to social cohesion, in line with Dubai's Social Agenda 33.

According to statistics released from the project's launch in November 2024 until the end of the year, the initiative achieved notable milestones. A total of 1,840 beneficiaries participated in Quran memorization and recitation correction programs, over 3,500 lessons were delivered in mosques, 231 educational sessions were conducted, and 299 family religious programs were organized to support family cohesion. Additionally, more than 516 fatwa services were provided to answer community inquiries. These services initially covered 28 mosques in the Al Barsha area as a pilot for the project.

In this context, Jassim Mohammed Al Khazraji, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture and Project Manager, confirmed that these achievements reflect the project’s vision of enhancing religious and cultural awareness in Dubai. The project represents a key step toward achieving the strategic objectives of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department to be closer to the community through innovative and comprehensive services.

Al Khazraji also pointed out that IACAD aims to expand the scope of the project, focusing on offering high-quality programs and services that serve various segments of the community. He added, "These results reflect the success of the project in meeting the needs of the community, and we will work to further develop the project to reach all members of the community, in line with the objectives of Social Agenda 33."
