The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai continued its Ramadan activities, which witnessed wide participation during the first week of the blessed month of Ramadan. The number of beneficiaries from religious lectures and lessons exceeded 57,000 people.
A total of 21 lectures were organized after Taraweeh prayers, delivered by 23 speakers, with over 2,300 attendees. Additionally, there were 1,500 daily religious lessons, benefiting 52,500 people. The activities extended to both government and private institutions, with 28 lectures organized for employees, attended by 2,500 people, reflecting the interest in promoting religious knowledge and positive values across various sectors.
In this regard, Yahya Abdulaziz Qasim, Chairman of the Cultural Activities Committee within the “Ramadan in Dubai” initiative, stated: "The great turnout for these events reflects the community's interest in awareness lectures and lessons, and confirms the role of IACAD in spreading knowledge and enhancing religious and social values. We will continue our efforts to offer programs that enrich awareness and contribute to fostering social cohesion, in line with our community strategy 'Closer to the Community'."
