In a widespread community response to the "Quran in Every Home" initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, the Dubai International Holy Quran Award of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, continues to successfully implement the initiative. Over 121,000 copies of the Quran have been distributed to mosque visitors across Dubai, coinciding with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan.
His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the "Year of the Community" and aims to reinforce religious values and enhance community awareness of the importance of reading and memorizing the Holy Quran. H.E noted that the overwhelming response to the initiative reflects the community's connection to the Book of Allah and their eagerness to benefit from this blessed initiative.
His Excellency added that the implementation of this initiative is in line with IACAD "Closer to the Community" strategy, which seeks to enhance interaction with various segments of society through qualitative initiatives that contribute to spreading Islamic values and strengthening cultural identity in Dubai.
It is worth mentioning that IACAD teams continue to distribute copies of the Quran through mosques across Dubai to ensure they reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries. This initiative is part of the efforts of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award to encourage community members to prepare optimally for the holy month of Ramadan, as the Quran is an essential part of the atmosphere of the blessed month.
IACAD invites members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the Quran to visit the nearest mosque participating in the initiative to take advantage of this blessed opportunity.
