In an inspiring step that reflects the spirit of Arab solidarity, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the launch of a wide-ranging humanitarian campaign titled "UAE Stands with You, Lebanon," following joint coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This initiative aims to enhance solidarity with the Lebanese people during these challenging times and will take place at the Exhibition Center in Expo Dubai on Saturday, October 12, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
The campaign aims to provide comprehensive support that meets basic needs and restores hope to millions of Lebanese, amidst the difficult challenges facing the country. Through this initiative, all accredited humanitarian institutions and charitable associations in the emirate, along with their relief and volunteer teams, will gather the necessary donations at Expo Dubai.
Mr. Mohammed Musbah Dahi, Acting Executive Director of the Charity Sector at the department, emphasized that the UAE's humanitarian stance alongside the Lebanese people is not merely a relief effort, but a true embodiment of the values of giving and solidarity that characterize the United Arab Emirates. "Our wise leadership has shown the world that humanity is the foundation of our unity and support for one another, and as a nation, we fully understand that helping our brothers in difficult times is our duty."
With the launch of the "UAE Stands with You, Lebanon" campaign, we reaffirm our complete commitment to this humanitarian obligation. Our role in this campaign is a call for everyone to unite, as every helping hand adds a spark of hope to the hearts of those in need. He emphasized that the UAE has always been and will continue to be a symbol of generosity and humanity, and we are proud to contribute to this noble message together, to make a real difference in the lives of others.
