 Jumeirah Beach Challenge" Marks IACAD First Participation in "Dubai Fitness Challenge"

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has announced its participation in the "Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024" by organizing the Jumeirah Beach event. This initiative reflects the IACAD’s commitment to enhancing the physical and mental well-being of its employees and encouraging them to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.  

The event featured a range of diverse sports activities, including group fitness sessions like beach running, as well as designated areas suitable for various fitness levels and a volleyball challenge.  

His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, emphasized that in Dubai, we believe that wellness and overall well-being are fundamental to success and excellence in the workplace. IACAD participation in the "Dubai Fitness Challenge" is part of our deep commitment to promoting this concept among our employees. It reflects our dedication to providing a work environment that encourages physical activity and improves quality of life.  

Our employees' participation in fitness challenges not only enhances their physical health but also contributes to increased productivity and happiness at work. We recognize that a happy and motivated employee is more creative and effective. Therefore, investing in health and wellness is an investment in our institutional future. We look forward to seeing our employees achieve inspiring personal milestones during the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and this step will help create a more vibrant and positive work environment.  

The Dubai Fitness Challenge is one of the leading initiatives launched by Dubai to encourage its residents to engage in physical activity for 30 minutes a day over a 30-day period. IACAD plans to continue its various activities throughout the challenge, organizing new events that cater to the interests and needs of its employees.
