“Jewels of Our Homes” Returns with a Series of Interactive Workshops to Instill the Virtues of Islam in Girls

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, represented by the Women’s Scientific Committee, is resuming its educational and interactive workshop “Jewels of Our Homes”. This initiative continues a series of awareness-raising events aimed at instilling noble Islamic values in young girls and strengthening their ethical and intellectual identity in light of contemporary challenges. The workshop focuses on building a positive personality through integrated morals, under the inspiring theme: “Our girl is graceful; she is, in every way, a jewel.”

The workshop is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Maktoum Centers for Quran Memorization and Sciences in the Nad Al Sheba area, during the morning hours from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, targeting girls aged 12 to 16 years old.

The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Maryam bin Touq, Ms. Aisha Al Bahri, and Ms. Maryam Ali Bullo — a distinguished group of educators specializing in religious guidance and moral upbringing. The workshop will use an interactive and engaging approach tailored to resonate with young girls, focusing on the beauty of Islamic morals and the role each virtuous trait plays in developing a balanced and conscious personality that reflects the essence and uniqueness of Islam.

This workshop is part of IACAD’s educational vision, inspired by the directives of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing the importance of investing in the upbringing of the younger generation — especially girls — and preparing them to be positive role models within their families and communities by instilling values such as modesty, honesty, respect, and solidarity.

IACAD reaffirms its commitment to continuing such awareness programs directed at young girls, given their profound impact on building a confident generation that is proud of its national identity, open to the world, and firmly rooted in its authentic Emirati heritage.
