The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai is preparing to welcome the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan in mosques across the Emirate of Dubai by holding Tahajjud prayers starting from the night of the 20th of Ramadan, led by a distinguished group of imams. The prayers will take place in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with serenity and devotion, reflecting the religious significance of these blessed nights and the profound spiritual blessings they bring during the holy month.
The organization of Tahajjud prayers comes as part of the department’s efforts to revive the noble Prophetic traditions during the last ten nights of Ramadan, promote tranquility and peace within the community, and provide worshippers with the opportunity to seek Laylat Al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) and spend these blessed nights in worship, remembrance, and supplication.
This religious observance also aims to deepen spiritual awareness, strengthen people’s connection with mosques, and reinforce faith-based values that positively influence individual and family behavior. It also contributes to spreading the spirit of compassion, solidarity, and social cohesion that characterizes the holy month of Ramadan, enhancing psychological and social stability while strengthening bonds among members of the UAE community.
The department invited the public to view the list of mosques where Tahajjud prayers will be held in order to choose the nearest location. The list is available on its official website and social media platforms, encouraging the community to make the most of these virtuous days and participate in reviving the nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, given the great rewards and spiritual impact that foster moral values and positive behaviors in society.
