IACAD Supports Psychological and Social Stability Through “Tamen Qalbik” Series

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has launched an awareness lecture series titled “Reassure Your Heart”, to be held remotely during April 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This initiative comes as part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to promote faith-based values and reinforce concepts of reassurance and psychological well-being among community members, in alignment with its strategic plans and the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to build a cohesive and stable society.

The series, delivered by a group of specialized female lecturers, addresses a range of faith-based and educational themes that reflect contemporary challenges. It opens with a lecture titled “Allah, the Protector, the Believer – Allah’s Mercy for the Believers and His Subtle Kindness”, presented by Ms. Khadija Naseeb on Wednesday, 15 April 2026. The session focuses on the meanings of the Beautiful Names of Allah and their impact in instilling reassurance in hearts, reflecting on Allah’s greatness during hardships, the importance of patience, repentance, and returning to Allah, in addition to highlighting ways to attain Allah’s companionship and supplications for distress.

The series also includes the lecture “Your Inner Fortresses (The Home and the Word)”, presented by Ms. Samira Al Balushi on Monday, 20 April 2026. The lecture sheds light on the role of social media, guidelines for publishing within Islamic jurisprudence, and the importance of building psychological safety within the Muslim family.

In the context of strengthening social responsibility, the lecture “One Heart for the Safety of Our Community”, presented by Ms. Asma Kazem on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, emphasizes that security is a fundamental objective of Islamic Sharia. It also highlights individuals’ duties toward leadership and the role of society in adhering to laws and regulations to enhance community stability.

The series concludes with the lecture “Unshaken Confidence”, presented by Ms. Suad Al Khaja on Wednesday, 29 April 2026. The session discusses the concept of reassurance and having good expectations of Allah, ways to maintain psychological balance during crises, and the role of the family as the primary source of security, while emphasizing certainty in Allah’s care and the glad tidings of goodness ahead.

The series targets various segments of society, reflecting the Department’s commitment to spreading moderate religious awareness and enhancing psychological and family stability through quality programs that address community needs and keep pace with its challenges.

This series comes as part of the Department’s broader awareness initiatives, reaffirming its pivotal role in supporting quality of life and promoting positive values, contributing to the objectives of the Year of the Family and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global model for social cohesion and human stability.
