As part of its commitment to reinforcing institutional partnerships and exchanging expertise, and in conjunction with the UAE–Kuwait Relations Week, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) received a delegation from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of the sisterly State of Kuwait. The delegation included Mr. Fahad Khalaf Hassan Al Helfi, Administrative Development Supervisor at the Human Resources Department, and Mr. Adel Abdulkhaleq Najm, Head of the Training Programs Implementation Section at the Human Resources Department.
The visit aimed to exchange expertise and broaden avenues of joint cooperation by reviewing the Department’s experience in implementing institutional governance frameworks, conducting benchmarking against best adopted practices, and discussing mechanisms for identifying training needs, thereby enhancing human capital efficiency and elevating the quality of institutional performance.
Ms. Aousha Ahmed Obaid, Acting Director of the Human Resources Department, affirmed that the visit reflects the depth of the fraternal relations between the two entities and underscores the importance of institutional knowledge exchange as a fundamental pillar for developing government work and anticipating future opportunities. She noted that sharing expertise contributes to aligning visions and strengthening the readiness of human cadres to meet upcoming requirements. She added that the visit’s timing during the UAE–Kuwait Relations Week gave it a deeper symbolic dimension, embodying the spirit of partnership and integration between the two countries, and extending beyond benchmarking to broader horizons of sustainable institutional cooperation.
This visit further reaffirms the Department’s role in knowledge transfer and in strengthening integration among Islamic entities across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, contributing to the development of institutional work and serving society and the family, in line with the directives of the wise leadership and its ambitious vision to build sustainable institutions and a cohesive society.
