IACAD Publishes "Fiqh Tolerance: Its Concept, Manifestations, and Regulations"

In a new step to enhance religious and cultural awareness in the UAE community, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the release of a new book titled "Fiqh Tolerance: Its Concept, Manifestations, and Regulations", by researcher Abdullah Khaled Al-Hashimi. The book addresses the topic of fiqh tolerance, exploring the differences among Islamic jurists in the branches of Shariah, as well as the opinions of the scholars and their followers.

The publication, which consists of three chapters, discusses the concept of tolerance by examining the origins of leniency and forbearance in both language and Shariah, the modern and contemporary use of the term "tolerance," its regulations and boundaries within the science of fiqh disagreements, and finally, examples and manifestations of fiqh tolerance in Islamic heritage.

This publication is part of the ongoing efforts by IACAD to spread and promote Islamic values within the community, contributing to the message of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among all segments of UAE society.
