As part of its efforts to enhance the efficiency of its employees and stay aligned with the latest global trends in improving government performance, The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai organized a specialized training workshop on behavioral insights trends. The workshop was presented by Mr. Ahmed Ali Al Amimi, Senior Consultant at the Evaluation and Studies Department of the Executive Council's General Secretariat, and took place at IACAD’s auditorium, with broad participation from its employees.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of behavioral insights, their importance in studying individual behavior, and their role in supporting logical and correct decision-making. It also highlighted how to design effective interventions that contribute to achieving positive and sustainable behavioral change. The session further explored ways to use behavioral insights to support government policies and improve the quality of services provided to the community.
During the workshop, Al Amimi presented practical examples and applications of behavioral insights across various fields, demonstrating their direct impact on enhancing institutional performance and guiding society toward adopting better decisions in simpler and more cost-effective ways compared to traditional methods.
This initiative is part of IACAD’s ongoing commitment to developing the capabilities of its staff and preparing them to respond effectively to the rapid changes in the social, economic, and technological environment, in line with the Dubai Government’s focus on excellence and innovation in service delivery.
