In conjunction with the Hajj season and the arrival of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai is organizing an awareness lecture titled “The Most Blessed Days Have Arrived” at Umm Al Sheif Islamic Cultural Center. The event will take place on May 12 as part of the “Nebras” program, which aims to strengthen religious awareness and promote faith-based values within the community. This initiative aligns with the department’s strategy, “Closer to the Community,” and its ongoing efforts to deliver meaningful educational content that corresponds with religious occasions and spiritual seasons.
The lecture is intended for women and will be delivered by Dr. Zahra Mohammed Al Jabri at Umm Al Sheif Islamic Cultural Center. It is part of a series of educational and awareness programs through which the department seeks to strengthen the community’s connection to Islamic rituals and deepen the correct understanding of their rulings and objectives through a balanced approach that combines authentic religious foundations with practical relevance.
The lecture will address several faith-based and jurisprudential topics related to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, including the virtues and great significance of these blessed days in Islam, the best recommended acts of worship to observe during them, as well as an introduction to the religious rulings related to sacrifice and Eid. This contributes to spreading accurate religious awareness and encouraging the proper and moderate practice of rituals.
The department emphasized that such programs are part of a comprehensive system of awareness initiatives implemented throughout the year, aimed at promoting moderate Islamic culture, strengthening family and social values, and building a more aware and cohesive society.
The department also invited women to participate and benefit from the lecture, encouraging them to register through the designated link provided in the event’s promotional materials in order to receive participation certificates.
