IACAD offers fatwas through "WhatsApp"

IACAD offers fatwas through "WhatsApp"

The Department of Fatwa at the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) is working to provide the Fatwas through new channels that allow the public to communicate directly with the Grand Mufti in a short time.

Mohammed Al Kamali, Head of Documentation and Archiving section, said that IACAD seeks to establish interactive and available resources to facilitate the access to fatwas for information seekers. WhatsApp, which is a common application among people, is an excellent platform to achieve this goal to all Muslims from around the world.

Al Kamali said that answering the question in the trial period of launching the channel would be within two working days, explaining that the service seeks to encourage people to inquire about the legal provisions and promote religious awareness for the largest segments in the community.
