The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has launched the “Explanation of Al-Muqaddimah al-Jazariyyah” course as part of the Riyad Al-Qur’an program at the Nad Al Sheba Women’s Center. The course is supervised by instructor Iman Ali Mustafa Ghandour and will be held every Tuesday starting from 25 November 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., conducted remotely through the center’s online platform.
The course focuses on the full rules of Tajwīd, aiming to equip learners with mastery of Qur’an recitation and precise articulation of letters and their characteristics in accordance with proper rules. This aligns with the Department’s mission to spread Qur’anic sciences and strengthen authentic religious culture.
The course targets learners at the center, employees, university students, and women from the wider community, with the goal of enhancing participants’ Qur’anic proficiency and enabling them to convey Qur’anic knowledge within their families and communities.
This initiative comes within the Department’s strategic vision to reinforce Dubai’s position as a hub for Sharia and Qur’anic studies and to support the wise leadership’s plans to build a knowledge-based society grounded in strong values and identity. Such programs contribute to reviving the spirit of correct recitation and reflection on the meanings of the Book of Allah, achieving a lasting impact in building an aware and faith-driven personality.
