As part of its ongoing efforts to promote religious knowledge and Islamic culture among learners of various backgrounds across its multiple centers, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, through the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, has announced the launch of the 2025 Cultural Religious Competition under the title “Pure Religion”, which focuses on the study of the book "The Forty on the Rights of the Lord of the Worlds."
This initiative reflects the department’s vision to be closer to the community and aligns with the wise leadership’s directives to reinforce the noble Islamic values of moderation and tolerance. It also aims to strengthen religious and cultural identity among different segments of society—especially new Muslims and residents of the Emirate of Dubai—contributing to the development of a cohesive society grounded in solid religious awareness and knowledge.
The competition is divided into three levels, taking into account the diversity of learners and their varying stages of understanding Islamic culture.
The first level is dedicated to new Muslims who have embraced Islam within the past two years. It requires attendance at the course and passing an online exam.
The intermediate level targets new Muslims who have been in the faith for over two years and involves attending the course, memorizing selected Hadiths, and passing the online exam.
The advanced level is designed for learners with broader knowledge and includes active participation in the course, an online exam, and selective memorization of prophetic Hadiths.
Registration for the competition takes place during October and November, with events scheduled to be held in November at the Center’s premises. Male and female learners enrolled at the Center can participate according to their suitable level. Participants will receive certificates of appreciation or participation based on their performance in both theoretical and oral components, with an electronic and oral assessment ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation of all contestants.
