The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, has launched a new awareness program under the “Jurisprudence of Muslim Women” series titled “Family Jurisprudence”, delivered by Dr. Hessa Khalfan Mohammed bin Hudhaibah, Senior Chief Mufti by the Ifta Department. The course targets women from various segments of society, as part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to enhance religious awareness and reinforce authentic family values.
The course is conducted remotely via Zoom on a weekly basis every Thursday, from 16 April to 7 May, enabling wider participation and facilitating access to Islamic knowledge across the community.
The program covers a range of key jurisprudential topics, including the rulings of marriage in terms of pillars, conditions, and impediments, mutual marital rights, as well as the rulings and implications of separation and its various forms. These themes aim to support the establishment of stable families grounded in a sound understanding of Islamic principles.
The Department emphasized that this course is an extension of its specialized jurisprudential programs implemented as part of its strategic plans, aimed at empowering women with knowledge and raising their level of religious awareness, in a way that positively reflects on family and societal stability. This aligns with the leadership’s vision of building a cohesive and aware society during the Year of the Family.
The Department invites interested participants to register through the designated links and join the accompanying interactive group, noting that attendance is exclusively for women, in order to maintain the privacy and appropriateness of the content.
