IACAD Launches Artificial Intelligence and Data Strategy 2025–2027 Under the Vision: A Data-Driven, AI-Powered Digital Department

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai has announced the launch of its Artificial Intelligence and Data Strategy for the period 2025–2027, in a move aimed at enhancing institutional operations and improving the efficiency of religious and charitable services through smart digital solutions.

The announcement coincides with “Dubai AI Week”, reflecting IACAD’s commitment to supporting Dubai’s vision of embracing cutting-edge technologies and anticipating the future of innovative, digital government work.

H.E. Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of IACAD, emphasized that the strategy marks a significant step forward in IACAD digital transformation journey. He affirmed that IACAD dedication to evolving its tools and services to meet community needs and keep pace with the rapid advancements in AI technologies.

He added that the integration of AI into IACAD’s operations and services represents a transformational opportunity to achieve greater impact with higher efficiency. He also highlighted IACAD’s readiness in terms of infrastructure and qualified personnel to implement its digital plans with agility and effectiveness.

The strategy will focus on four key pillars:

1. Enhancing education and awareness through analyzing public behaviors and needs.

2. Developing the charitable and Islamic services ecosystem using predictive analytics.

3. Empowering human capital with future-ready digital skills.

4. Strengthening institutional digital infrastructure to accelerate services, improve accuracy, and enhance customer experience.

Through this strategy, IACAD reaffirms its commitment to digital government priorities and to building strong tech partnerships with public and private entities. The aim is to develop sustainable, efficient services that meet the aspirations of the community.
