As part of its strategic plans aimed at enhancing the status of the Arabic language and highlighting its cultural identity aligned with the vision of the wise leadership in promoting values of authenticity and belonging, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD), represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, has launched a series of Arabic language courses under the “Huroof” program. The program is designed to develop reading and writing skills and improve the participants’ proficiency across various levels.

These courses, which run for a period of three months and are dedicated exclusively to women, are supervised by Ms. Maryam bin Touq. The initiative aligns with national efforts to support the Arabic language and affirms the role of "Islamic Affairs Dubai" in preserving the pillars of cultural identity through specialized programs that empower different target groups with Arabic language skills—the language of the Holy Qur’an and a key to civilizational communication with the world.

The courses are held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture in Al Barsha 3 every Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, focusing on reading and writing. A Level 1 course is also held on Wednesdays at the same time, with the Level 2 course continuing on Thursdays at the same center. Additionally, the Maktoum Center in Al Warqaa supervises the delivery of the Level 1 course every Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, ensuring a variety of venues and expanding access to a broader audience.

The department has invited interested participants to register via the official website: iacad.gov.ae, affirming its ongoing commitment to delivering educational initiatives that strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading hub for knowledge dissemination and the promotion of cultural and human coexistence.
