As part of the "Ramadan in Dubai" initiative and within the ongoing efforts to enhance religious awareness and instill Islamic values, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has launched a series of Ramadan lectures held after Taraweeh prayers at various mosques across Dubai.
This initiative aims to promote community cohesion, spread correct religious knowledge, and build an enlightened awareness that reflects the principles of Islam.
The lectures cover a variety of topics that are of interest to fasting individuals during the blessed month of Ramadan. They are presented by a select group of scholars and preachers, contributing to strengthening the correct understanding of Islamic law, promoting values of tolerance and moderation, and helping to build a religiously enlightened awareness that enhances societal cohesion.
In this context, Yahya Abdulaziz Qasim, Chairman of the Cultural Islamic Activities Committee for the Ramadan in Dubai initiative, confirmed that organizing these lectures is part of the strategic direction of IACAD, which aims to spread religious knowledge and enhance the spiritual atmosphere during Ramadan. This contributes to achieving the goals of the community year and reinforcing the role of religious initiatives in supporting the social agenda, focusing on building a more cohesive, ethically balanced, and intellectually sound society.
To ensure that these events reach the largest possible audience, the department has shared the schedules of the Ramadan lectures, including their timings and locations, across all its official digital platforms and social media channels. This allows the public to review the details, select the lectures most convenient for them, and benefit from these spiritual gatherings that promote values during the holy month.
