IACAD, in coordination with the Dubai Health Authority, is organizing a seminar titled "A Guest Has Arrived"

As part of its strategic vision to be closer to the community, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority, is organizing a religious and health seminar for women titled "A Guest Has Arrived" at Al Mizhar Cultural Center.

This event is an extension of IACAD’s efforts to empower women with the necessary religious and medical knowledge in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. The seminar provides a comprehensive approach that combines worship and health, guiding women toward the best practices that balance religious duties and maintaining physical and mental well-being.

The seminar covers various topics, offering attendees a blend of Islamic jurisprudence and medicine. The session begins with Mrs. Mona Tarish delivering a lecture titled "The Month of Goodness," which highlights the noble meanings of Ramadan, and how it is a time to renew intentions, enhance piety, and create positive change in the life of a Muslim woman.

This is followed by a lecture from Dr. Shamsa Abdullah Ali Hamad titled "Medical Tips," where she offers guidance on proper nutrition and healthy habits that help women perform their religious duties with full energy and vitality, with a particular focus on special cases such as pregnant women, patients, and the elderly.

Dr. Bushra Al-Jasmi concludes the seminar with a session on "Ramadan Fatawa," answering religious questions relevant to women during the holy month, such as rulings on fasting for pregnant and nursing women, how to make up for missed fasts, and valid reasons for breaking the fast, along with other legal matters that provide women with peace of mind in their worship.

IACAD emphasizes that the integration of religious guidance and health advice forms a solid foundation for building a balanced society, where individuals are equipped with the necessary awareness for a life filled with giving and stability.
