IACAD Honors Distinguished Employees in the 19th Edition of the Internal Excellence Award

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department organized a ceremony to honor the winners of the Internal Excellence Award in its 19th edition of 2024, as part of its efforts to promote a culture of excellence and creativity among its employees.

The ceremony took place at IACAD’s Theater, attended by His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director General of IACAD, along with several unit directors, consultants, and heads of the department. During the event, employees were recognized for their contributions in various institutional and functional categories of the Internal Excellence Award.

The ceremony began with a speech by His Excellency, in which he praised the efforts of the employees who contributed to IACAD’s outstanding achievements over the past year. H.E emphasized that excellence and creativity in job performance are essential pillars for realizing IACAD’s vision to serve the community and provide the best practices in charitable and religious work, he added, “We commend the efforts and hard work of our employees. Thanks to their spirit of innovation and creativity, the Internal Excellence Award is a recognition of the outstanding contributions made by the employees throughout their careers. This award is not just an honor for the winners, but a motivator for all employees to continue striving for continuous improvement and to develop work methods in line with IACAD strategic vision, thereby enhancing its role as a key driver for the tasks entrusted to it, with the aim of increasing productivity and competitiveness.”

The Director General congratulated the winners and expressed his hopes for continued teamwork, innovation, and excellence to achieve the future goals of Dubai’s vision and its Agenda 33, aiming to be closer to the community and offer the best at the highest global standards.

The award categories varied, including: Organizational Units Awards, with the Engineering and Mosque Care Department winning as the Best Organizational Unit, and one of the most future-ready units. The Religious Education and Guidance Department won as the Best Organizational Unit Closest to the Community, while the Zakat and Charitable Donations Department was recognized as the most volunteer-driven unit.

The Best Initiative or Project award was granted to the "Summer Ghyras" project. The first-place certificates were awarded to the following employees: Administrative Employee: Mrs. Rafi’a Khalfan Al-Suwaidi, Specialized Employee: Dr. Sadeeqa Yahya Al-Kamali, Field Employee: Eng. Moaz Khaled Al-Marri, Young Employee: Safiya Ayoub Idris, Distinguished Preacher, Imam, and Muezzin: Ibrahim Mohammed Yusuf, Engineer in Charge and Distinguished Area/Region Coordinator: Mr. Mohammed Amin Nuwailah.

Excellence Pioneers certificates were awarded to: Dr. Abdullah Mousa, Dr. Omar Abbas Al-Jumayli, Dr. Zahra Mohammed Al-Jabri. Ambassador of Excellence certificates were awarded to: Ahmed Faisal Al-Junaidi, Anas Ahmed Aido. The event concluded with special recognition for: Abdullah Al-Khabi, Hajar Al-Suwaidi, Mona Mutar Bakhit, Hamda Saif Al-Mutaioui, as well as the entire team responsible for mosque evaluations across Dubai.

The winners expressed their happiness with this recognition of their efforts and dedication, reaffirming their commitment to continue striving for further innovation and excellence, aiming to remain worthy of the trust in all aspects of their work.
