As part of its family awareness initiative “Family Pulse,” the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) organized an inspiring lecture titled “My Father” The session was presented by Dr. Zahra Mohammed Omar Al-Jabri on 12 November 2025 via Microsoft Teams (women only), with the aim of reinforcing the father’s status in the hearts of children and reviving the values of gratitude and dutifulness within the family.
The lecture addressed profound spiritual and human themes highlighting the elevated status of the father in Islam, the virtues and rewards of honoring him, and examples of dutifulness toward one’s father even after his passing. It emphasized that honoring parents does not end with their death, but continues through prayer, good deeds, and loyalty to their memory.
This event comes within IACAD’s ongoing efforts to promote authentic family values and instill feelings of loyalty and gratitude throughout the Emirati community. It reflects the Department’s commitment to building cohesive families rooted in love, mercy, and righteousness, in alignment with its mission of strengthening Islamic principles and fostering family unity across the UAE.
