The Governance and Audit Department at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) organized an introductory workshop on the Whistleblowing Policy. The event took place at the main auditorium in IACAD’s headquarters. The aim was to shed light on the core elements of this vital policy and its role in supporting the institutional governance framework.

This workshop falls within IACAD’s efforts to foster a culture of reporting and to promote transparency and integrity in the workplace, in line with the directives of the UAE’s leadership to uphold accountability and the highest standards of professional conduct within government entities.

The session addressed the overall framework of the policy and the mechanisms for its implementation, which are designed to provide a safe and confidential environment for whistleblowers—whether employees or stakeholders—ensuring protection from discrimination. It also covered the types of violations covered under the policy, which through this policy, IACAD aims to foster a culture of integrity and trust among employees and stakeholders, contributing positively to institutional performance and reinforcing IACAD’s reputation as a leading entity in ethical governance and sustainable practices.
