IACAD Continues Its Mosque Development Journey with the Opening of Hind Saif Al Ghurair Mosque in Al Khawaneej 2

In a scene that reflects Dubai’s continued care for the construction and upkeep of the houses of Allah, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai inaugurated Hind Saif Al Ghurair Mosque in Al Khawaneej 2, marking a valuable addition to the emirate’s network of mosques and a new beacon that strengthens the presence of Islamic values within the urban and social fabric.

In a scene that reflects Dubai’s continued care for the construction and upkeep of the houses of Allah, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai inaugurated Hind Saif Al Ghurair Mosque in Al Khawaneej 2, marking a valuable addition to the emirate’s network of mosques and a new beacon that strengthens the presence of Islamic values within the urban and social fabric. The mosque was established with the generous support of donors Ahmed, Khalid, and Ghanem, sons of Juma Al Beqizi Al Falasi, in a model that reflects the depth of community partnership and the role of endowment and charitable giving in supporting sustainable religious projects.

The opening of the mosque comes as part of IACAD’s strategic approach to integrated mosque planning, in line with urban expansion and the needs of residents, and in translation of the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership to reinforce the role of the mosque as a center for community cohesion. The mosque was built on a land area of 3,764 square meters, with a total capacity of 1,267 worshippers, including 1,056 men and 211 women, and features a modern architectural style that provides a comprehensive spiritual environment accommodating all segments of society.

Hind Saif Al Ghurair Mosque includes integrated facilities such as men’s and women’s prayer halls, a minaret, an iwan, residences for the imam and muezzin, parking spaces, ablution areas, and dedicated facilities for people of determination, affirming IACAD’s commitment to inclusivity and community readiness standards.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai affirmed that the opening of Hind Saif Al Ghurair Mosque embodies its vision of developing mosques as integrated spiritual environments that contribute to strengthening social stability and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading model in caring for houses of worship, in harmony with the aspirations of the wise leadership and its vision for a cohesive and balanced society.
