IACAD concludes the Winter Intensive Quran Memorization Course with the participation of 711 male and female students

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai concluded the Winter Intensive Quran Memorization Course, which ran from December 15 to 26, 2024. The program attracted 711 male and female students during the school break, as part of its efforts to make use of the holiday period to instill Islamic values and national identity in the younger generations.

The course included 25 circles for males, with 250 students supervised by 25 teachers and 6 supervisors, while the female course consisted of 41 circles, with 461 students supervised by 41 female teachers and 12 supervisors. The course was distinguished by sessions offering a (Isnad) connected to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in addition to teaching Tajweed rules, aiming to cultivate a love for the Quran in the participants and strengthen their connection to it. The sessions took place in Deira, Bur Dubai, and Hatta from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with significant participation from students and their families, reflecting the success of the initiative in meeting the community's expectations.

Mr. Abdullah Abu Bakr Ba Sala’a, Executive of Quran and Competitions Affairs, confirmed that the winter course was a response to IACAD’s mission of preparing a generation that is firmly attached to the Quran and its values, making the most of the school break to reinforce their religious and national identity. He praised the wide turnout, emphasizing that such programs contribute to achieving the department's goals of spreading religious awareness and instilling noble values.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department reaffirms its commitment to continuing to provide quality programs that enable future generations to hold firmly to their religious principles, becoming constructive members of society, guided by the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
