IACAD Celebrates High School Graduates from Employees’ Families Supporting Family Values and Empowering the Future

In an atmosphere filled with pride and joy, the Happiness Council at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai organized a special honoring ceremony this morning at the Department’s auditorium in Al Mamzar. The event was held in the presence of H.E. Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department, along with executive directors, department heads, and several unit managers, to celebrate the high school graduates from among the sons and daughters of IACAD employees. This celebration served as a recognition of their academic achievement and a reinforcement of family appreciation and community connection.

This initiative reflects the Department’s commitment to fostering a humane and motivating work environment that elevates the role of the family and supports its stability. It aligns with the objectives of the "Year of the Community 2025," as announced by the wise leadership, and embodies the vision of the Government of Dubai to build a cohesive social fabric in which every individual contributes with responsibility and purpose.

On this occasion, H.E. Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department, stated: "In moments of success, the value of the family shines through, and we are reminded that every achievement has a silent partner — the parents — who worked hard and raised their children, and now they rejoice. Just as children have a duty to show gratitude and strive for excellence, parents have the responsibility to support and nurture them. Together, they are the wings of true success."

His Excellency affirmed that such initiatives are not fleeting celebrations, but reflect an institutional approach that places people first, enhances organizational belonging and loyalty, and emphasizes the importance of investing in young talent and encouraging their continued pursuit of learning and creativity.

The ceremony included the presentation of commemorative gifts and certificates of appreciation to the graduates, along with touching family moments that reflected pride and joy, in the presence of directors, staff, and their families.
