The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the approval of prices for the sacrificial animal project for the Hajj season 1447 AH (2026), in coordination with accredited charitable associations and institutions in the emirate. This comes as part of its ongoing commitment to facilitating the performance of this blessed ritual for donors both within and outside the country, while reinforcing organized charitable work and enhancing its efficiency, in line with the leadership’s vision of promoting social solidarity and community cooperation.

The approved prices include the Somali sacrifice, which is slaughtered and distributed within the country, at AED 800; the local sacrifice in the country of donation, which is slaughtered and distributed outside the country, at AED 350; as well as the Ethiopian or Kenyan sacrifice, which is slaughtered outside the country and distributed within the country, at AED 490.

The approval of these prices comes as part of the Department’s efforts to unify the pricing of sacrificial coupons among accredited charitable entities, helping to reduce price disparities and enhance transparency and clarity for donors. It also contributes to improving resource management efficiency and ensuring fairness in service delivery, guaranteeing that support reaches its rightful beneficiaries in accordance with best humanitarian practices.

The Department confirmed that these prices were set in coordination with approved suppliers and according to precise standards that ensure the delivery of sacrifices to underprivileged families and those in need both within and outside the country. This is carried out under the supervision and direct follow-up of accredited charitable organizations in the emirate, in cooperation with donors and benefactors who annually perform this ritual through trusted charitable channels.
