IACAD has announced the launch of Arabic language courses at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture

IACAD has announced the launch of Arabic language courses at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai organized a jurisprudential course titled "Blessed Women" at the Nad Al Sheba Women’s Center. The course, presented by Dr. Hessa Khalfan Bin Hudhaiba, Senior Mufti at the Fatwa Department, attracted a remarkable turnout, with more than 95 attendees on the first day of the course. This initiative is part of the center's efforts to enhance religious awareness among women, empowering them to perform their acts of worship correctly and to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings.

The "Blessed Women" course is held every Wednesday throughout 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The course aims to teach women the key Islamic rulings on matters such as purification, prayer, fasting, and other essential topics that every Muslim should learn to avoid ignorance.

The course is inspired by the words of Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "The women of the Ansar are the best women; their modesty did not prevent them from seeking knowledge of religion" (Sahih Muslim). Through this course, the department seeks to provide religious knowledge to women in an accessible and comprehensive way, enriching their understanding of worship practices that no Muslim can be excused for being ignorant of.

The department strives to create an educational environment that empowers Emirati women, providing them with the necessary religious knowledge, and enhancing their status in society while supporting their active role in shaping the future.
