As part of its mission to spread the noble values of Islam and enhance community awareness of the principles of the religion, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the schedule of mosque lectures for October 2025. The program covers a variety of faith-based, educational, and social topics aligned with the vision of our wise leadership in building a conscious generation deeply rooted in its authentic national identity.
The program kicks off at the beginning of the month with a lecture titled Reflections on Ayat Al-Kursi, highlighting its profound meanings and lofty spiritual lessons. It also addresses aspects of faith through topics such as Belief in Divine Decree, Both Good and Bad, and explores the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "When Allah loves a people, He tests them," to reinforce the concepts of patience and seeking reward from Allah.
The program also includes lectures that touch on individual and societal life, such as The Dangers of Extravagance on Families and Society, and Important Etiquette in Social Media Usage. In addition, it features jurisprudential lessons like Rulings on Congregational Prayer and Rules Related to Women’s Waiting Period (‘Iddah), as well as sessions that revive the values of kindness and righteousness, including Ways of Honoring Parents and Doing Good to the Poor and Needy.
The program further sheds light on aspects of the blessed Prophetic Sunnah through the explanation of hadiths such as Indeed, Allah Is Pleased with Three Things for You, the Prophet’s sayings on Signs of the Hour, and the story behind the hadith: “What a good man Abdullah is, if only he prayed at night.” It also includes youth-focused topics like A Young Man Who Grew Up Worshipping Allah.
Through this rich and diverse program and its profound content, Dubai Islamic Affairs continues to highlight the role of mosques as beacons of knowledge and faith. These lectures serve as a continuous source of enlightenment, strengthening authentic values in the hearts of people, and positioning Dubai as a shining model of moderation and balance.
