In an inspiring move to promote noble human values, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, has launched an awareness course titled "Be Kind to Parents." The course is aimed at new Muslims and highlights the importance of honoring parents as a fundamental principle in Islam, closely tied to the worship of Allah Almighty. The course will take place on Sunday, November 24, via Microsoft Teams, starting at 10 AM.
This course is part of the religious awareness program of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, which aims to integrate new Muslims into the Islamic community in a way that makes Islam a global religion that transcends borders and cultures. It also seeks to emphasize the importance of honoring and being kind to parents, affirming that this is a divine command. The course will be presented by Ms. Wafa Qassimia in both Filipino and English.
The link to join the course can be accessed through IACAD’s social media platforms or its official website. This course is part of the ongoing efforts by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department to support new Muslims, help them follow the teachings of Islam, and strengthen the unity and bonds of human and religious connections within the UAE community.
