As part of efforts to strengthen cultural and religious cooperation, Mohammed Musabbah Dhahi, Executive Director of the Charity Work Sector at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD), received H.E. Jean-Christophe Paris, Consul General of the French Republic in Dubai.
The meeting discussed the pioneering role played by the Department in promoting constructive interfaith dialogue, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to make Dubai a global model for peaceful coexistence and moderation. Both sides reviewed several cultural and charitable initiatives implemented in the emirate and emphasized the importance of enhancing them to benefit all segments of society.
In this context, Mohammed Musabbah Dhahi affirmed the Department’s commitment to being closely connected with the community through its initiatives and events. He noted that this meeting reflects the Department’s dedication to supporting values of dialogue and mutual understanding, in accordance with its strategic plans and vision to make Dubai a global beacon of moderation and cultural openness.
For his part, H.E. Jean-Christophe Paris praised the efforts of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in promoting dialogue and understanding among different religions and cultures. He stressed that the fruitful partnerships led by the Department highlight Dubai’s pioneering role on the international stage and position it as a global hub of tolerance, moderation, and a model for peaceful human coexistence among nations.
