The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, in collaboration with the Community Development Authority, has launched the “Young Reciter” program from February 23 to March 5, running Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The program was held across five community locations, including neighborhood councils in Al Khawaneej, Hatta, Umm Suqeim, Nad Al Sheba, and Al Warqa, as part of joint efforts to strengthen faith-based values and instill love for the Holy Qur’an in children’s hearts.

The program witnessed remarkable participation, with more than 400 boys and girls enrolled — including 190 girls and 201 boys — in a well-organized educational environment focused on instilling good morals, developing proper recitation skills, enhancing understanding of the Qur’an, and linking its teachings to children’s daily behavior.

The program was delivered by a specialized educational team consisting of seven female teachers and five male teachers, who provided comprehensive content combining recitation with the practical application of Qur’anic values, thereby strengthening children’s connection to the Book of Allah through reading and reflection.

Program organizers emphasized that the “Young Reciter” initiative reflects the commitment of both entities to nurturing a conscious generation proud of its identity and firmly rooted in authentic Islamic values through community programs that strengthen family bonds and provide a safe, motivating educational environment for youth.
